A Dream That Began in 2018
In 2018, five brothers began dreaming of building a new kind of educational institution in Brahmanbaria—one that would bring together the best of Islamic and modern education. Years of learning, research, travel, and preparation eventually gave that dream a direction: the Institute of Innovative Thought (IIT).
The Foundation of Our Vision
Our vision was shaped by experience. Growing up and studying across three educational traditions in Bangladesh—Qawmi, Alia, and General education—we experienced both their strengths and limitations. Over time, we came to believe that the best elements of these traditions could be brought together into a more balanced and meaningful educational approach.
Years of Preparation
The years between our initial vision and the establishment of IIT were dedicated to preparation. Alongside developing ourselves personally and professionally, we studied educational systems, visited institutions across Bangladesh and abroad, and explored ways to develop an integrated curriculum combining the strengths of different educational traditions.
From Vision to Reality
After years of learning, research, travel, and preparation, the vision of five brothers became a reality. On January 1, 2022, the Institute of Innovative Thought (IIT) officially began its journey in Brahmanbaria.
